  • Channel Cat water taxi - The Channel Cat Water Taxi service on the Mississippi River is available from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. weekdays; 9:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Saturdays; and 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Sundays. The Channel Cat stops at in Moline at Ben Butterworth Parkway at Celebration Pier, (2501 River Drive); at the Isle of Capri Casino, Bettendorf ; at the Village of East Davenport; John Deere Commons in Moline; and The Quarter in East Moline (Wed.-Thu. only). (See detailed schedule.) There may be twice an hour service on weekends. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 2-10. No pets allowed, but the boat has room for bicycles.   • Colonel Davenport House - The Colonel Davenport House, located on the north shore of Arsenal Island, is open for tours from noon-4 p.m. Thursday-Sunday from May-Oct. The house is open at other times by appointment. It was occupied by the first white settler in the area, Col. George Davenport, and was built in 1833-34. There is a small gift shop.   • Hauberg Indian Museum - The Hauberg Indian Museum at Black Hawk State Historic Site, Rock Island, leads visitors on a tour of a year in the life of a Native American, starting with summer corn harvest and ending with spring maple syrup-bottling. Life-size displays, houses, and mannequins portray the daily life of a Sauk or Mesquakie Indian during the late 1700s and early 1800s. The newest exhibit, The Fur Trade, examines the economic relationship between the Sauk and Mesquakie and the American Fur Company, which made Indians in Illinois part of lucrative worldwide trade.
